A 401(k) from work, a Roth IRA, a brokerage app, some crypto, savings and checking. Every zakat calculator still asks you for one number.
Is a 401(k) zakatable? Shares you hold for years? The gold from your wedding? Answers differ by school, and most calculators never say which answer they used.
You estimate, round up and hope it was right. Nothing is written down, so next year you do it all again.
Add each account once: checking, savings, 401(k) or IRA (Roth or Traditional), brokerage, crypto, and gold or silver by weight. Add debts too, like a car loan or student loans. You choose how retirement accounts count: after tax and penalty, in full, or not until you withdraw.
Choose Ḥanafī, Mālikī, Shāfiʿī or Ḥanbalī. Each holding shows the rule Nisabify applied, so you can check it with a scholar you trust. The rulings are sourced, not scholar-reviewed, and every figure says so.
Nisabify keeps your ḥawl on the Hijri calendar and shows the days left. Record what you give as zakat or sadaqah, and export the record at tax time.
Pick your school, then gold or silver for the nisab, and when your wealth reached it. Not sure of the date? Start from today and correct it later.
Accounts, retirement, crypto, gold and debts. The estimate updates as you go, and each line shows how it was treated.
Give on the charity’s own site. Record the gift in Nisabify and see what is left for this zakat year.
Give opens the charity’s own donation page. The charity takes the payment and sends your receipt. The charities Nisabify lists are US tax-exempt organizations, checked against IRS records.
Nisabify never asks for the password to your bank or brokerage. You type in your balances. Connecting an account goes through Plaid, is read-only, and is not open for real accounts yet.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Delete your account any time in Settings.
A figure is an estimate, not a fatwa. The rulings are sourced, not scholar-reviewed, and every figure says so.

Scholars differ. You choose how Nisabify counts retirement accounts: what you could take out after tax and penalty, the full balance, or nothing until you withdraw. The line shows which rule it used.
Add them at today’s value. Shares you hold for the long term count at 30% of market value, an estimate of the zakatable assets behind them; shares you trade count in full. Crypto counts in full, as money. Each line says which rule applied.
Ḥanafī, Mālikī, Shāfiʿī and Ḥanbalī. You choose one when you set up, and you can change it in Settings.
No. It is an estimate worked out from what you enter and the settings you choose. The rulings are sourced, not scholar-reviewed. Check your own situation with a qualified scholar.
No. Nisabify does not hold, receive or move money. You give on the charity’s own website, and recording a gift only updates your own record.
